The first single off Devine Carama’s Nas tribute tape entitled “It Was Rewritten“. Working with producer 2 Mello, the two reworks some of the classic joints from Nas “It Was Written” to pay homage not only to the G.O.D emcee but one of Devine’s favorite albums of all times. Hip-hop fans know that many rappers were greatly inspired by the the master piece we call It Was Written-one that goes by Lupe Fiasco is first that comes to mind.
